“I believe learning begins with a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable to share and grow.”

Sabina Huivan
Hi, I am Sabina. My journey as a teacher started in my homeland, Argentina. I earned my Bachelor’s degree there and became an English teacher. I taught for more than seven years to students of diverse language levels and ages.
My curiosity about teaching Spanish as a foreign language began when I moved to the United States. Soon after that, I received training in teaching my native language and finally became a Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher. I have been teaching Spanish for more than two years, and I enjoy it a lot!
What I like the most about teaching either English or Spanish is seeing my students’ progress throughout the classes and how satisfied they are when they become aware of it.
I strongly believe in the importance of providing a comfortable and welcoming learning environment to reduce any anxiety or shyness when learning a foreign or second language.
As part of my own Argentinian culture, fostering and reinforcing kind interactions in class is one of the hallmarks of my teaching style.
